I bought it for my wii U to play Japanese game. It can be recognized with my wii U without problem. And I downloaded software and wrote to this memory without problem. However, it coudn't be installed updated program. I cannot understand why...

If you will be storing thousands of files; such as pictures, this is a bad USB drive. For very large files, it's kinda okay, but for small files, it's wortthless.

I received this USB 8G flash drive and i am amazed as to how large its storage and ease of use with my computer.

Anyone having troubles creating a boot disk from the 16GB version? I'm trying to create a Windows 7 boot disk. Specifically, I've been using Apple's Boot Camp utility software. It creates the boot disk just fine, but every time I go to install Windows, it starts up in DOS and can not see a boot disk. I also tried using the Windows7-USB-DVD-tool through Parallels.I went by this guy's tutorial videos:[...]He says the problem is the brand of flash drive and that some aren't bootable because of software that you can't get rid of on the flash drive. I have used these several times with Mac OS Lion and Mountain Lion, so I know that they can be used as a boot disk. But why they heck wouldn't they work with Windows 7 or DOS? Is there some extra formatting I need to do here?

Sadly when you plug it in and look at the space it's only 14GB So a wast of money as I needed to save 15GB of data.

all i wanted this for was so i can interact with cisco routers and switches. NO other USB can plug in with the ciscos for downloading scripts and banners or even updates. this one does. great USB.
