It was packaged well, appeared as new, and had all the parts as advertised. I have made several smoothies with it with both fruit and vegetables. A lot of reviews mentioned noise issues with this. I have had several different blenders in the past, and personally I did not think the noise from this was bad at all. It does get a little noisier with larger course items in it to blend, but this is to be expected. This little jewel chews right through anything that I have blended so far and does it quick! I have used combinations of fruit including Oranges with the peel on them. The peel left on is not for everybody as it does give a sharper more bitter taste. The Ninja grinds the unpeeled oranges into a fine smoothie when combined with other fruit, very drinkable. I usually do 3 or 4 quick bursts with the Ninja and then 1 or two blends of about 15 to 20 seconds and it is done! Easy to clean and does not take up a lot of counter space.
