## Description

Vintage Analog Delay Effects Pedal

Review: Another winner from Behringer! - Here's why I like this pedal.. 1. It is clean. The analog aspect of this has been thoroughly covered in other reviews so I won't rehash all that but would add that -for me at least- the effect has a warm quality to it that I really like even compared to other way more expensive ones. 2. Not over the top! Some pedals that offer Delay are really good too but don't allow you to really dial it down like this one from Behringer does. And I really like that you can dial in a very subtle effect to add just enough delay to accent the guitar tone without killing it and that's a very good thing. 3. Price. It was $25 bucks - cheap - nuff said. 4. Complimentary. This pedal compliments the other pedals I have on my board very well. It will definitely become a must-have addition of that I am confident! 5. Quiet. I am blown away by how noise free and quiet this pedal is. And yes, I am talking about relative noise as compared to others. Is it dead quiet? Well, no. but for me what little noise it makes is probably attributable to the florescent lights or even the power supply block I am running it off of. So no complaints there. 6: Plastic but feels solid. Yep - the Behringer pedals are made from a heavy grade plastic but I have not a second thought about all of my other Behringer pedals and have played out numerous times over the years with some of them.. in fact an older Behringer pedal I own has out lasted a much more expensive Digitech pedal that I purchased less than 2 years back! Final thoughts: Buy it. Its $25 bucks. It works great! Do recommend using it with an AC adapter or connecting to your board. Keep Rocking!
Review: Nice! - As someone pointed out, most of the Behringer pedals are Boss clones, though they said it like it's a bad thing. This one is no exception being a clone of the boss Dm-3 analog delay. Other than being plastic and much less expensive than the real thing, there is nothing wrong with Behringer pedals. If you don't believe it, you can find plenty of side by side comparison videos online. Sometimes you get one that doesn't work on arrival (or doesn't work properly), which is true for just about anything you order online. I have had the same thing happen with Boss, Ehx, and and a few others. No worries, you send it back and get it replaced, no big deal. I had to send an EHX Big Muff back 3 times before I got one that worked properly a few years ago and that is one of my primary pedals (on my second one now). As for this pedal, it does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it very well. Listening to it, you really can't tell the difference between this, and something much more expensive as far as analog delay pedals go. So you don't get to flash a big name brand on your pedal board, who cares if it works?? The fact is, I have started replacing my existing pedals with Behringers as they wear out because I can't see, or justify paying hundreds more for something that does the exact same thing and sounds virtually identical in all but a few cases. When my big muff goes out again, I will be using the Behringer copy, it's just more cost effective, and I have had a chance to use one, and I think it actually sounds a little better than the EXH.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this a clone of another pedal?**
A: yes it is a clone of the boss analog delay, their first delay, google "tone king behringer comparison chart". It will tell you every pedal behringer makes and what it is a clone of.

**Q: So I'm a newbie with electric instruments I have an amp, will I need anything special to hook this up?**
A: Yes Boss is better, but this is a good pedal for beginners. Two cables required, I use 6 feet from guitar to pedal (imput) and 12, or 18 to amp, (out). Any battery works depending how much you play. I buy cheap dollar general batteries and they save me im the long run. Your choice. 🎸

**Q: Can I use two amps at the same time with this or is the dir output only for a mixer?**
A: Yes. This works to connect two amps. It will split the wet and dry signal if you use both outputs (using just OUT blends the wet and dry signal) - have a look at the manual.

**Q: Does it have trails/spillover? When turned off, do the delays continue until they fade out? Or do they stop immediately when the pedal is turned off?**
A: They stop immediately when the pedal is turned off

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Great Tuner at an Affordable Price!
*by J***R on August 23, 2018*

When it arrived it came in the typical stomp pedal cardboard box and the box was in great shape. When we took the TU 300 out of he box, our first impression was that it seemed pretty nice for a $25 dollar stomp pedal. It’s made of plastic and seems rugged enough. The pedal has a rubber push foot pad like other pedals of similar design. The base of the unit is made with a no slip rubber base and was easily adaptable to our pedal board. Inserting the battery was a little tricky at first, on either side of the foot pad you have to push in each hinge pin in order to access the battery compartment. The pins seem a little flimsy and may break over time. The battery compartment is not as easily accessible as with some other brand guitar pedals. When we plugged the TU 300 in, the inserts were smooth and the pedal was quiet, without any humming or buzzing. The tuner seemed a little sluggish when reacting to the strum of each string but after a few moments we didn’t seem to notice that too much. Switching between tuning modes using the MODE switch was smooth and simple as well as switching between LED display modes using the STREAM/CENT button. The ByPass insert allows the signal from the guitar to reach the amp even when the pedal is engaged. We used the TU 300 at a live event and it performed well without any issues at all. The Behringer TU 300 Chromatic Tuner for Guitar and Bass reminded us of the Boss TU 3 but for about a quarter of the price at $24.99 at amazon.com. Although the unit is made of plastic it seems tough and rugged and held up fine during a live performance. We did have some issues with the battery compartment but nothing we couldn’t figure out very quickly. Overall the Behringer TU 300 Chromatic Guitar Tuner is an affordable alternative that we would recommend to any guitar player or bassist.
