Reef complete is a concentrated optimized blend of ionic calcium designed to restore and maintain calcium to levels found in natural seawater without affecting pH. Calcium and carbonates are essential to all coral growth. If either becomes deficient, coral growth will cease, followed by a rapid decline in coral health. To prevent this you must provide calcium (reef complete) and carbonates (reef builder or reef carbonate). reef complete also includes magnesium and strontium in amounts proportionate to typical utilization ratios. **Q: I have an activated carbon reactor, will the reactor remove this stuff?**
A: I don't know the answer but I shut my off for a few hours.

**Q: What distinguishes this from their regular calcium additive?**
A: It's more than just calcium. It has all the elements of saltwater mixes. You use Reef Plus with this, and your saltwater tank gets the added vitamins and amino acids it needs to be healthy.

**Q: Seachem reef calcium. will it help strengthen the shell of my freshwater turtle? i have a reeve’s turtle/chinese pond turtle.**
A: Made for saltwater! Need better foods for your turtle. Pond turtles don't need calcium supplements because it's usually in the water if you do water replacements!

**Q: My calcium (159) and magnesium (870) levels are low in my nano 13.5g saltwater tank. Will this boost both or do I also need a magnesium additive?**
A: Water changes work better than anything in these smaller tanks. Is this a hard coral tank? I use Seachem Reef Complete and Reef Plus together. If its a coral tank and not a fish tank, then make sure your using a reef salt mix with those extra additives. You can also add Reef Rubble pieces to keep your levels up in between water changes. Smaller tanks need more water changes because things change quicker with less space.

This product is amazing. I have always had a difficult time with coralline algae but once I started to use it's made a huge difference. I now have purple spots showing up everywhere even on my ornaments. Also since using this my pulsing Xenia have grown rapidly, I have new growths literally every couple days or 3 days and I have only been using this for about 2 weeks maybe 3. This stuff is amazing

Desde que uso Seachem Reef Complete, he notado un cambio muy claro en la estabilidad de mis parámetros y en la salud general de mis corales. El producto viene bastante concentrado, así que con una dosificación pequeña ya logro mantener el calcio dentro del rango ideal sin necesidad de estar añadiendo grandes cantidades todos los días. Lo que más me ha gustado es que no solo sube el calcio, sino que también aporta magnesio y estroncio, lo cual ayuda mucho a evitar la precipitación y mantiene más estables los niveles del tanque. En mi caso, mis blandos y LPS reaccionaron rápido: mejor extensión de pólipos y crecimiento más consistente. El líquido es transparente, sin olor extraño y se mezcla rápido en el agua sin dejar residuos. También agradezco que Seachem incluya las instrucciones con medidas claras según el nivel que buscas alcanzar —ideal para quienes están empezando y para quienes ya llevan tiempo cuidando un acuario de arrecife.
