I have 3 boys, ages 5, 4 and 10 months. The furniture in my house really takes a beating and this can hold up! I got one for the living room and one for the family room which is pretty much the play room where the kids roam free. They have both withstood the sitting, jumping, climbing and debauchery that I expected they would undergo. The material is easily wiped clean so no fear of stains or sticky residue ruining the material. The only issue I had was with the blasted cat, who got her claws in a few spots and left tiny holes.
