I got a pair of the same brand, in the Snobuster style as well for my oldest daughter and she wore them for 2 years in a row. Now my middle daughter is wearing the same pair handed-down and they show virtually no signs of wear! This is because of the synthetic rubber with nearly one piece construction. This blue and black pair is for my mud-loving middle son (a 4 year old, size 10 toddler shoes, size 5t clothes-- Ordered size 11 boots) and he is loving that they keep his feet warm and dry and I am loving how easy they are to clean-- just rinse off the outside! After not finding a cheaper boot that met my daughters needs, I decided to go with these. What sold me on the boots, besides the great reviews, is the ability to take out the liner. I figure when the weather gets warmer, I can take out the liner, which will hopefully add more space as her feet grow. I am sure glad I made the purchase. My daughter loves these boots! From the day she received them, she's wanted to wear them every day. Just a few days after they arrived, it snowed and these boots kept her feet warm and dry. They are study, but not too bulky or heavy. It's been about a month since she's received the boots and she still tells me she's glad I got them for her. They are completely waterproof, great for the snow, and the adjustable strap at the top helps to keep the snow out. My guess is that I will be purchasing these boots every year until my daughter is old enough to pick out her own boots, and maybe even after that. My daughter is 2 1/2 and her feet are in between sizes 7 1/2 and 8.
