It is a bit brittle and can split easier than maybe the best sandpapers I've used. However at time of review it is £1.99. This is less than half the price I can find cheap paper anywhere else. I tried several high street cheap shops and all were £5+ for sandpaper of similar quality, more for the really good stuff. The grit on this is strong and two pieces of the heavier grit and one piece of medium sanded 4 windowsills back to nice and smooth. You have to fold very flat otherwise they do disintegrate a bit, but once I realised that and dumped the block they worked fine. I just needed a cheap pack to do a few windowsills. If you are doing loads of hand sanding, you may want better quality, but the cheapest way to sand a few windowsills you can't beat this.
