Although I don't yet own a resin printer myself, I have friends whose opinions I respect, that have and like this UV light for that purpose. My interest in the light, however, is for use with UV cured glues/plastics. I have been using a popular repair solution known as "Bondic," as well as less expensive products sold as "5-second Fix - Plastic Welding Tool," etc. All of these products use a pen-shaped applicator to allow repairs of broken objects using a liquid "glue" that hardens instantly under UV light. I have found that these solutions work great in situations where one needs to quickly fill and/or build repairs where the adhesive needs to set instantly, such as broken glasses frames, etc, but sometimes the tiny UV lights that come with them don't do as great a job at fully curing the products as I would like ... so I decided to try this much higher powered solution instead. What I remember of the spectrum, this is just at the beginning (405nm) of what is considered UV light. UV light is broken down into three spectrums: A, B, and C. UV-B is what is found in most tanning beds, and UV-C is what those germ killing lights have. Just above UV-C is actually soft x-ray, like what is used at security screenings for luggage and people. This light is on the total opposite end and is just past what we would call purple light. It has just enough "kick" to assemble some chemical bonds like in UV curing plastics. What you are looking for is UV-C some where around 200nm-280nm. Thanks!** A: Most pour resins are not uv cured They dry with time and the correct mixing ration of part a and part b. This light is designed for resin that's not mixed it hardens with uv light only. So the answer is no it will do nothing with pour resins. If your prints don’t cure with this, there’s something you’re doing wrong. I bought the recommended led strip on here and curing took a long time. With this they cure in the same time as wash and cure stations.
