Here is the truth. I use these at work every day with a double monitor set up, plus my laptop screen. I spend about six or seven hours actively looking at the screens. With two side-by-side screens, I would definitely notice any distracting distortion. These simply do not have distortion, despite what some reviewers are saying. But maybe that changes at the strongest prescription levels. In any case, when I compare these to the half dozen cheaper readers I have around the house and office, these lenses are much thinner and therefore produce less distortion.To be fair, high-end prescription lenses have even less distortion. But I find these lenses to be very good quality for the price, and totally suitable for daily heavy use. They effectively reduce blue light without making everything look yellow, or off-color. The frames are fairly light weight, but not the lightest. They have been durable so far, and required no adjustments or tightening.I am totally happy with my purchase, and would buy these again. ### ⭐ Great if you only look straight ahead. *by J***H on December 14, 2016* I have quite a few pairs of reading glasses, and these are the most overpriced and underperforming glasses yet. They seem to be a poor quality plastic lens that if you look at anything less than 100% straight on, they cause serious distortion. I have other Foster Grant glasses at 1/3 the price that are 3 times better, so i don't understand it. Save your money and shop elsewhere. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good, especially for the price *by B***K on December 1, 2015* I ordered these directly from FGX after Amazon inadvertently sent me the wrong pair (unsurprisingly, Amazon rectified this error with no trouble at all). For the price, they're a perfectly good set of readers that do a really decent job of cutting down on high-energy blue light that's emitted from LCD screens such as computer monitors, smart phones, and tablets.I wanted to wait until I got a really good pair of blue light filtering glasses to compare them. In terms of performance, they're very similar. I can't tell that my more expensive glasses (with Kodak BlueReflect lens coatings) are blocking any more blue light. They could be, but for my uses, I see no difference. These FG's did the job I wanted them to, which was to cut down on my end-of-day eye fatigue (burning, watering, and headaches). For the record, I'm a software engineer who spends 8 hours a day in front of two LCD screens, and way too much time on my iPhone, iPad, or Kindle Fire.There are only three cons:1. The inside of the lenses is more reflective than I would have liked. When there's a light source off to either side of me, I become very aware of a reflection of my own eyes on the inside of the lenses, which can be distracting. My expensive glasses do this, too, but not as much.2. The lenses don't offer nearly the clarity of my more expensive pairs, and sometimes things are a little noticeably hazy. You could chalk this up to "No duh - they're $35 glassess" and you'd be right.3. Like all my FG readers that have nose pads, the nose pads are loose on their stems and rattle around. No big deal, but it irritates me a little bit.All in all, you're hard-pressed to go wrong for the price. They're comfortable readers that work well, and really do a good job of cutting down on blue light and the associated symptoms of exposure to it. I wore them every day at work while I waited for my more expensive, prescription pair to arrive, and they helped me a lot.
