Wouldn't buy another
I had to find a different circuit to plug it into to eliminate the hum.

Works well with active soundbar!
I have a soundbar without a dedicated sub out.My setup is simple but effective:TV - > AUX to RCA - > subwoofer - > RCA to AUX -> SoundbarWorks like a charm!There are some details with the frequency I've yet to nail down, but the settings seem flexible enough.

Not good
For the price and power suggest is not worth it also I could not hook it up to my sound bar. Every time I insert the RCA jack into one of the ports at the back of the sub, I get a hum. How do you connect it baffles me.

Great sound, but it broke.
Loved the sound for one hour, then it stopped working. It really did sound great. The customer service handled my problem and replaced the defective unit without a hitch. Exceptional customer service!

Even though the hertz that the subwoofer can go down to is wrong in the description it's perfect. It can go from 20hz-200hz
