Review: Excellent replacement! Phenomenal seller support!! - GREAT VALUE! 🤙🏻 I replaced the Honeywell product (R4184 D 1027) with no issues. Straightforward and easy installation. I am not an HVAC professional by any stretch, but completed the swap in under 10 minutes. The Seller also includes contact info (call or text!) if you encounter any issues. 🙌🏻🙂 I was experiencing an intermittent ‘no-start’ problem with my boiler. If you “knocked” on the primary control, it would fire right up. After waking up to a cold house multiple times, I ordered this replacement (half the cost of a Honeywell) based on many positive reviews and my own research. Once installed, my boiler purrs like a kitten! The wire colors on the ICM model align with the Honeywell, so no guesswork as to which wire goes where. I recommend doing one at a time to avoid confusing them! I now have no more intermittent starting issues. In the photos, I’ve shown the Honeywell Primary Control I replaced, along with the ICM model in its place. The third photo shows the required ‘jumper wire’ I installed on the ‘T’ terminals (thermostat) as in my application, they are not used, but without ‘jumping’ the terminals to complete the thermostat circuit, the unit will not function. Will update if unit develops any issues, but none foreseen and I am VERY happy with this purchase - I am speaking on both the product and the seller! Thank you! 🙂
