**Q: Do these fit over prescription glasses?**
A: They fit over them well, but depending on your glasses, they might not stay up super well (depends on whether or not it can reach the bridge of your nose). They are wide enough to fit over my glasses, but I prefer to belay with just these glasses, since my vision isn’t horrible and then I don’t have to worry about wearing two frames :)

**Q: Is this one mirror? If so, does the image you see appear upside down? Or does the image you see appear correctly?**
A: The image you see is right-side up.  They are for belaying, so you can see things above you.  If you are looking for glasses to watch TV below you while lying down, they are upside down.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the prism? Are they glass?**
A: They appear to be high-quality plastic ... No distortion.  The dimensions can be easily estimated by taking a pair of regular glasses and guestimating ... currently in a locker and not easy to check right now... sorry

**Q: Do they make them for going down a rock wall?**
A: These glasses are made for belaying a climber

I bought these because I have neck issues. After belaying for my daughter for a couple hours of craning my neck it would be killing me. So I gave these a try. Love em. Well constructed. Fit well. Neck saver.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lasted 3.5 years of weekly use

I wore these belay glasses for 3.5 years of once-weekly climbing (~180 climbs) before one of the temples finally snapped. Over the years I lost two screws, so I’d recommend using Loctite (or another threadlocker) to keep them secure. The glasses come with extra screws, though, so losing one isn’t a disaster. They were comfortable, gave my neck a break, and probably saved my eyes from plenty of falling chalk. The carrying case was also surprisingly well designed - it even has a little pouch for the cleaning cloth and extra screws. Great value for the money, IMO. Great gift for a climber in your life, or a gift idea for yourself if you have a friend looking to buy you something. I’m now trying a $70 pair from REI whose case *doesn’t* include a spot for the cleaning cloth. We’ll see whether they last 3× as long...
