It's best to get the full use out of the battery before recharging it. When it's almost run down charge it don't leave them uncharged for a long time that is the worst thing you can do with any rechargeable battery. If you half charge a battery your charging it many more times than needed to get the full use. Charge it use it charge it. Almost every thing I use rechargeable batteries I have two sets one in use one charging. I also number my batteries in sets for what I use them in so two batteries in one hand set will be 4 batteries a1 a1 b2 b2 each battey is charged at the same time. One set used one charging. Had my batteries for years and always get the longest use out of them before having to charge them again.
