We have a bunch of keys hanging on it. **Q: I'd like to use these to decoratively hang a few coffee mugs from the wall in my kitchen. Would these work for that purpose?** A: What I had ordered was actually a towel bar to hang a towel so this product would not work for your purpose. Check their web site for hooks. Hope this helps! **Q: Are they large enough to hold a curtain rod that my husband can't find time to hang?** A: I guess it would depend on the size of the curtain rod, but it would not work for any curtain rods that I have hung. InterDesign sells 8 totally different products here under the same listing. Most people don't notice that so the reviews from those products are all jumbled together, making the rating process meaningless. With over 300 reviews of products that have no relationship to each other mixed together it is virtually impossible to get any useful information about a specific product. It seems most of the reviews are for towel bars. However, I am NOT reviewing the company's lack of understanding how to sell on Amazon; my review is strictly based on the key rack that I own. Unfortunately Amazon shipped this together with a DVD in a thin manila envelope (no padding) and the key rack I received was dented. It's not worth returning and I already rated the packaging in the appropriate place so that won't take away any stars. So what about the product itself? It is definitely one heavy-duty key rack! And attractive as well. It goes very well in our kitchen with stainless steel appliances. There are a couple of things that are important to know before buying this key rack: 1. The hooks are wide and flat. They work great for keys that are on a key ring but will not work for individual keys because the hooks are much too fat to fit into the holes of most keys. 2. The adhesive is ridiculously strong. I was trying to use a level to mount the key rack straight and as soon as the adhesive touched the wall it was attracted like a magnet. It was impossible to move. I don't think there is any fear that this key rack will ever fall off the wall. I'm very pleased with this key rack. The wide hooks make it easy to place the keys on the rack by touch rather than looking.
