I built a little manifold to adapt the 4" hose to two 2-1/2" ports. I used the adapter to transition from 2.5" DC hose to the Shop Vac end to connect to the topside dust port, and works/fits great (I hadn't paid attention to the handedness of the turns of the hose and the adapter, but they were both the same for me).
