## Description

Do you want to give your shooters the best chance to develop their talents in archery? Then choose SAS Siege 55 lbs 29" Compound Bow Set and give shooters the right gear of high quality and durability. This archery bow is among the starter compound bows for sale in the market. The bow features a 41.5” axle to axle, 29” draw length, 206 FPS. This compressed ABS limb spans balance, weight and strength to continue the life of the bow. This compound has a strong piece layered limb used to draw weights up to 55 lbs. Loosening the bolt will decrease the draw weight by 5 pounds & tightening it will increase the weight 5 pounds. The limbs are accommodated in place by the back pivoting limb pockets, a strong connection with rigid tolerances for enhanced accuracy. A curb appeal is given to the bow by the riser. The number of cut outs in the riser provides the compound bow a waffle look. When the string is pulled back, the bow takes 55 lbs of force and it happens prior to the twin cam idlers activate. When the string is released, an arrow is launched at an outstanding speed of 206 feet per second. Highlights: Compressed ABS Limbs for long life Adjustable Bow Sight. Right Hand Only. Specifications: Draw Length: 29" Draw Weight: 40-55 lbs Axle to Axle: 41.5" Let Off: 70% Max Speed: 206 FPS Recommended Arrow: 30" Carbon and Aluminum arrow recommended Net weight: 4 lbs Package Contents: 1 x Compound Bow 1 x Accurate Sight 1 x Paper Target Warranty: This item is fully covered by Southland Archery Supply three year manufacture warranty. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now we can all join The Hunger Games.

*by A***E on March 17, 2015*

You can look and look but it will be very difficult to find a bow of this quality in this price range. Between my roommate and his wife they have 5 bows. 2 compound hunting types which go up to very heavy draw weights of 70Lbs or so, and 2 recurves and a long bow. I started archery because of the both of them. I used their compound bows for a while and got rather good with them and I began looking for my own. I didnt wanna spend $400 on a bow like they had my first time out. I did know that I wanted a compund bow with a decent enough draw weight to hunt with. After visiting the local bass pro a few times, and looking online for something for a while, I really just didnt see what I was looking for. I don't even know how I came across this bow but I'm more than glad I did! It was exactly what I was looking for! I rather fancy the traditional shape of bows but love the power you get from a compound cam system. The sights and arrow rests really suit me as well. Welll... I should say common types found on compound bows. I can't tell you much about the arrow rest or drop sight that came with this bow because I ordered an upgrade kit at the same time which included the tri-pattern brush arrow rest, 5 pin sight with light, peepsight, stabilizer, d-loop material, and a bowsling for $42!! The kit I bought didnt come with a string silencer but its ok...the bow doesnt have a place to mount one^.^ It has a rather satisfying, and powerful "Thunk" when its shot. This bow impressed my friend who has been practicing archery for 10 years! He didnt believe what I paid for it!! He also said its a great starter bow that will also please an advanced shooter. It has impressive power at the high end and can be turned down for someone who isnt used to a heavy pull. This bow is WELL DESERVING of all the bells and whistles I threw on it and instantly became a monster!! I was happy with the purchase of the bow alone but with all the goodies slapped on...The odds are certainly ever in my favor. *UPDATE* I'm pretty sure with a bow press the draw length is adjustable!! The cam has 3 slots for the string cable to lock into and it comes preset to the middle slot. Not much room for variation as you get 3 choices. The draw length window on this bow is a very common size and with the adjustment up or down 1 notch in length im sure it would fit most anyone^.^ **UPDATE AGAIN** I got my portable bow press today and the draw length IS ADJUSTABLE! As stated before it has only 3 notches in the cam for the length of pull but one of them should work just fine for anyone strong enough to pull it. Upon taking it apart I learned a lot about this bow! The way its strung is pretty simple, and now I understand how they work! The draw weight adjustment loosened up SLIGHTLY when it wasnt under any tension and I was able to tighten it a little bit above what I could while it was. I have yet to test it out as I have to re adjust my peepsight and D-loop before I can shoot. What a purchase though! LOVE this little bow for its uniqueness, accuracy, and power! and PRICE! ***Yet another update!!*** This bow keeps getting better! Among other goodies I have in the works for it....I picked up a string silencer that mounts very easily to the cable guard rod!! This bow has a serious kick and is a bit on the loud side compared to other types. Not only is it now practically mute... its more accurate and the arrows are a bit faster! Less kick too! I would highly recommend this device plus an oversized stabilizer which I have on the way for VERY cheap. Will swap the standard lightweight one that came with my kit for a larger and heavier one, adding a lot of balance and stability, as well as even more noise reduction and accuracy. Bravo This bow!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I killed a boar with this bow!

*by L***0 on August 7, 2014*

I bought this bow in June, and killed a magnificent male razorback with it in July in Okeechobee Fla..I added a whisker-biscuit rest, and a peepsight. I used the old fashioned sights that came with the bow.I shot the boar with Razor-Trick broadhead, and carbon arrows at 300 spine. The bow incorrectly advertised draw weights of 40-55 lbs.I lowered the draw weight down as far as it would go, and it still measured out at 53 pounds at the bow-shop.I killed the boar with it at 53 pounds, and have not changed it. I expect it would be around 70 pounds pull at full setting.I'm leaving it at 53 because I use my fingers/bow-glove to release the arrow instead of the mechanical kind of release.I'm sure the expensive bows have some advantages, but I like this design as it retains the feel of using a wood bow, but can be shot with more accuracy because of the sights. This thing will kill any animal in North AmericaNeedless to say, this bow was an incredible bargain.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bow for the money! Solidly built and powerful!

*by W***G on August 3, 2016*

Ill tell you what, for the money this thing is really nice. Its powerful and fairly accurate when you sight in and get the hang of it.It is NOT however for kids or the average size woman. Even at the lowest 40lb setting. Its hard to initially pull, I thought my wife could handle it, but not even close at all....Now I need to buy her a regular long bow...I took off the worthless stock sight and installed a cheap whisper buscuit and circular 3 dot truglow sight, which are cheap here as well. Fixed my initial accuracy issues.
