Upon trying numerous vitamin c serums to lighten sun damage on my neck and décolletage, and not to mention ending up terribly disappointed, I found this serum. At the age of 54, and after 1 week I SEE my true skin color. It’s lightening the skin! You will itch a little at first but push through and use an exceptional moisturizer and sunscreen as well. Will purchase again and continue the regimen.

I bought this with excitement after doing somewhat limited research and a recommendation from a YouTube video or two, and then upon waiting for it to arrive continued to look more in depth into this specific product, as well as Vitamin Cs in general." L- ascorbic one of the two forms of vitamin C found in nature and is the most biologically active, meaning it is the most beneficial." Basically, what I've come to find out is that l-ascorbic acid is really the kind of vitamin c that has the proven test and results behind it as to actually help improve the appearance of textured skin, pigmentation, acne, and firmness, helps to maintain skin barrier integrity, is involved in collagen production, AND protects against sun damage. (However, the thing is its' very "unstable", simply put, it breaks down when exposed to AIR OR LIGHT, big booboo- and i mention this because it helps explain why products like versed's vit c exist and do not include l-ascorbic, the most proven beneficial form of vit c) SO, upon learning this- I figured if I was gonna go through the troubles of possibly irritating my skin for a good, patient, 4-6 weeks hoping and committing for long term results, i might as well do it with a product that has proven ingredients and this one is gonna be return on my end.

I have been searching for a Vitamin C serum that is effective but did not cost 50+ dollars. I have found success with this one! I have been using it for roughly two weeks and have noticed an improved brightness in my skin. The serum has a luxurious and smooth feel. Highly recommend if you are looking for a Vitamin C serum that won't break the bank.
