Before I even had a chance to install it, I was contacted to make sure I was happy with the product! After install, everything looked great and worked great except the stupid touch ID wouldn't activate (yes I moved over the home button from the original screen). I was pretty sure I didn't damage anything but you never really know with these tiny little connectors ... well, I provided this feedback, and they gave me the benefit of the doubt and sent a replacement. With this one I was RIDICULOUSLY careful with the home button connector and cable ribbons. Long story short: I was able to get the touch ID to work, sporadically. Meaning I'd press in connector cables and reconnect the battery and test it before putting back on the cover plates etc., and the touch ID would work! (would activate fine, I could add add'l fingerprints, etc.) I was so excited! then I'd put the cover plates back on over the screen cables and battery cable, and turn it back on and it wouldn't activate again. So it's working now but next time the phone turns off I won't be surprised if it says touch ID not activated again. But frankly, I suspect it's some Apple BS to make sure you take it to Apple and pay $120+ or whatever it is for them to replace the screen, and not something inherent to the replacement screen. At any rate, the Supplier was incredibly responsive and totally cared that the product worked well for me. I couldn't ask for better customer service. OH and also note - this screen comes with everything except the home button - that makes it easier because there is less you have to transfer from the old screen (the speaker assembly at the top, the big metal plate which attaches to the screen assy with 8 screws, etc.). For the slight price difference, it made sense to go ahead and just get this screen, which has those things already assembled on it. Fewer things to go wrong, ya know. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to do screen replacement--highly recommend. *by B***X on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2019* Watched a Youtube video from JerryRigEverything and I was off to the races (n.b. this replacement kit does not require the steps shown by Jerry). After removing the two pentalobe screws near the lightning connector, I found the "guitar picks" worked best for separating the screen while lifting the broken screen with the suction cup. My iPhone's screen was shattered from top to bottom, so I had a bit of a challenge getting suction cup to stick to the screen. Once the screen was off, 4 phillips screws (pay attention as one of is much longer than the other 3) allows the removal of a cover plate for 3 ribbon cables connecting the screen to the phone body. Three phillips screws held a cover plate for the home button. The ribbon cable for the home button is held in place with a bit of glue; I used one of the long blue "spudgers" to gently pry it off. After plugging everything back together, but before reassembling the phone, I turned the phone on to verify the screen, camera, home button, and front cameras functioned properly. After confirming everything worked, reassembly was straightforward. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easier than you think - give it a try! *by M***H on Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2019* Worked first try and was actually easier to install than I expected and the supplied tools were more than adequate. Considering the Apple store wanted $150 to do the repair, it was well worth the try for the ancient iPhone 6s. Some words of advice - perform your repair over a large solid surface because when the tiny screws go flying (and they will) they are nearly impossible to find. For old eyes like mine, a magnifying glass is a huge help because what you may think is a speck of dirt, is a screw.
