So no holidays for us again, probably ever! Never mind, we are lucky enough to have a garden, which we intend to spend a lot of time in this year (weather permitting). However, with no garden centres being open during lockdown, we had no flowers to brighten the garden.These artificial sprays are wonderful and can be plonked in pots or troughs easily, or around the borders to give splashes of intense colour. Unlike some comments about them, we think that they are very life like and well made.My wife generally dislikes artificial flowers, but until I told her they were unreal, she said how pretty they looked in a vase I just arranged them in. “Beautiful spring flowers” she said with glee!One caviat must be the plastic smell at the moment, which stops them from being kept indoors - that may disappear with time though.I rate these artificial flowers 5 stars for cost, as a similar ‘real’ display would cost more and they would die in a week. These will last at least until the end of lockdown (2021?) or when sports stadiums can welcome fans back, families can have Sunday lunch in a restaurant together and visitors are allowed back in care homes! Will all that ever be possible again? Looked bright and fresh in a graveside vase ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars We have had many good comments on these flowers. *by A***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 May 2021* Great look, OK so most people buy these and put straight into a vase. However it takes more work than that to make them look great. Once you have bent them and made the colour mix you want, there is one more step people do not know about. You must use HEAT gun or small flame to gently warm the stems, this allows the plastic to bend a little and look more natural, you can also support the the flower after bending to make it sit where you want it to go. I added DRAGON MOSS around the vase entrance to cover the plastic. I also used paper inside the vase to support the positions, to do that just poke some holes into the paper or card with scissors. Trim any flowers with scissors where needed to make smoother. Some people say the heads come off well I had 2 not so good, but a drop of glue and that was solved.These are a great way to add colour to any room without breaking the bank on a regular basis.Be careful if you use a naked flame to bend and remember to have some supports ready, books are great for that.
