You could probably make one from odd scrap. I'm thinking a dowel and perhaps the bottom half of a small plastic Easter egg? That's what I'd try. **Q: How much assembly required? Could a child do it?** A: It is very easy to assemble, simply screw the rod together and place the decorative birds on top. This is my second one but do not get worried for the reason. My first one I purchased last year and we has a 30 mile yard sale during that time everyone wanted to know if this was for sale as well to which they were disappointed it was not. I have a friend set up here in my yard, she loved it and throughout the year tried to get me to sell it to her.Recently I was over at her home and she had something I had been wanting really bad. So we ultimately made a deal and traded my Two Old Crows for her 500 gallon containers. After we did the trade and my husband came home he noticed that the Two Old Crows were missing. When asked I told him we needed the 500 gallon containers if anything bad was to happen where we lost our water and or could not get out to get water and she wanted the crows so we traded even steven.Which leads me to why I have gotten my Two Old Crows for the second time in a years time. But be warned that when we have the 30 mile this year I may just sell these and get more. People just adore them.
