The book arrived promptly and was in great condition except I later learned that it is missing the answers to odd problems and the index, which are listed in the table of contents and supposed to be at the end of the book.  These sections are present in other hard copy books of the same edition and everything.  The pages don't appear to have been ripped out so I think the book was defective. Be careful.

I ordered this book and the book is missing pages A-9 to pages A-40 (the appendix pages).  So now when I have to check the answers to my odd "Problems" and check the "Check your understanding problems" for each chapter, I can't do that to help my understanding because the answers and steps to the odd "Problems" and the "Check your Understanding" problems are omitted from the appendix.  I need this problem addressed by you with a new book or with an appendix to be sent to me.
