The upper of the boot is constructed from durable Magnashield leather and nylon giving a smart yet incredibly comfortable fit; the Magnashield leather is ideal for polishing and keeping a professional look. First of all, they are way too big - I bought my usual size 5 but my feet rattle around in them. This makes it difficult to run in these boots, and trying to be discreet is a bit tricky because I keep kicking things that are a fair distance from my actual foot because of the unnecessary extra room. They also started to fall apart after only 200hrs of use, in the that velcro separated from the tab which fastens over the zip. After about another 200hrs the fabric started fraying around the point where it meets the leather on the heel. Not only are the boots falling apart, but I cannot believe how uncomfortable they are. Inside the boot, the heel is completely solid with no cushioning around the back of the ankle at all. I have to wear super thick socks in the height of summer in these to stop blisters forming. You can also forget foot patrol in these boots, I'm not sure why but they are just so uncomfortable to actually stand in. My feet have never ached so much, standing for about 10 minutes in these equates to the pain you might get from walking in a comfortable pair of shoes for about 6 or 7 hours. I've tried gel inserts but nothing helps and getting rid of my boots is a genuine motivation to change role. The only good thing about them is that you really cannot slip in these boots, I'm quite cautious usually about slippy surfaces, but I know I can step anywhere in these and stay put. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great pair of work boots! *by A***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 April 2019* These boots are very light and strong, they provide good support for your ankles and can be worn all day without becoming uncomfortable.
