A: I think the question was, why won’t the “sticky” Velcro pad stick to the plastic. 

Try try wiping the plastic with a detergent, as it may be covered in polish from previous cleans.

A: I don’t know for sure but the Kia Niro looks about the same size as the Land Rover discovery and it fits in that well.

A: I don't see any reason why it won't fit, if you look at the picture of the liner there is plenty of overhang at the back and the sides so no matter how big your boot is it should fit.  Hope this helps.

Impressed with the quality of this. Comes with handy Velcro strips to attach to the boot lining. Has done the trick to keep dog hair off the actual car. Easy to remove and clean. Only down side is that it is quite slippery for the dogs. So the dogs slide around when turning a corner as they can’t dig their claws into the carpet like they used to. But otherwise impressed. While a good buy and good value, once this has had its time I would next look for something with more grip for the dogs.
