To the point where it was unsafe... This kit was AWESOME. A local pool retail store wanted a TON of money to come out and replace the hardware. So I figured what the heck - I can do this - not much to lose. The hardest part of installing it was getting the old rusted out bolt off of the diving board. We had to put a lot of muscle into getting it out since it was so corroded. Nothing a hammer couldn't solve. Once the bolt was removed we just used the new hardware kit.Everything that I needed was in the bag (except super detailed instructions on the order of the washers). But I figured it out pretty easily by looking at the diving base installation instructions on Inter-Fab's website. HINT: the black washer goes underneath the white cap on TOP of the board. The red thick washer goes in between the diving board and the diving base. The steel washer and lock washer goes "underneath" the base. I did use a little dab of the gray anti-seize on the thread of the bolts.The white cap finishes the look and so does the white rubber caps to cover up the nut. It took about 30 minutes to do the entire thing (it would have been less except for the hassle of getting the old bolt off). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great replacement for 30 year old bolts *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2022* Last season, one of the bolts on the board my folks had installed with their pool 30 years ago finally let go. Just recently I ordered these bolts, and found that the other bolt was about to let go also, very corroded and was less than 1/4 inch left in thickness. I was able to clean out the board and base, and these bolts slid right in. The board is usable again! These were the correct length for the board and base, and had no missing parts. Used the anti-seize generously just to use it all up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to install *by B***C on Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2021* My plastic caps had deteriorated and one bolt was rusted. The hardest part of the install was getting the old rusted bolts off. I used WD40 on the bolts by the nuts. I chiseled off the old plastic caps so I could grip the top of the bolt. A 3/4 inch deep socket wrench and off they came. My washers had deteriorated and they needed to be scraped off. The directions and parts list was in the bag. From that point on everything was very simple. Whole job took about an hour.
