I've used a lot of them and they are of decent quality. not super strong, but better than the recyclable ones they sell in the stores now. no, they are not the thin ones. regular dvd width. **Q: do these have a FIRM "click" when shut? i am buying them for a film festival library & they will get repeated usage. I am producing a booklet from 8.5x11" paper (letter size) and folding in half.** A: I can tell you that for the cover that slips under the clear in the outside my dimensions are 7.25" x 10.8".
