The unit looks and feels very sturdy and is heavier than I thought it would be but not an issue - if anything this adds to its potential longevity. Put CDs in already - it of course accommodates standard size single jewel cases but I can also fit plastic box sets of the same height (without slipcases though). Some of those CD issues that look like a book with the CDs in a slot on the inside covers did not fit properly so one just has to experiment. Just don't crowd each drawer too much or damage may ensue. The felt linings in each drawer made said drawers a little hard to close but got easier with each try so I guess it's just a matter of the unit wearing in. The keys are a nice touch but clearly an option - have not tried them. I have this Vaultz unit stacked on top of two solid wood CD cabinets. I do not think there will be any weight associated issues with doing this but I will see. After all if the Vaultz are advertised as being stackable then I don't think there would be issues in this regard. So satisfied with this purchase so far but we'll see down the line. Feel confident though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice cabinet for typical/normal sized CD storage *by on Reviewed in the United States May 11, 2015* Bottom line: This is a good product, and I'd buy it again.I wanted to buy a CD storage cabinet that was sturdy, functional, and fit my needs with the amount of storage available. First, I tried one of the others offered on Amazon. When that one arrived, it was a poorly made wooden product, from China. That one had been quickly stained, and felt like it would easily break...etc, so I sent it back. The Vaultz, on the other hand, is very solid. It's only for CDs...and it has velcro dividers that work pretty well in separating sections. It quickly gave me the opportunity to organize my CD's, and the case is nice to look at. I'd recommend to other potential buyers to make sure that you know what space you're dedicating this cabinet for. Also, be aware that the Vaultz cabinet is dedicated to "typical" sized CD's....so you might not be able to fit some of the unique or special edition CD's that come in atypical sizes. I would add that there are plenty of inferior cabinet and/or storage selections to choose from on the Internet. For me, this cabinet perfectly fit my needs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Solution *by on Reviewed in the United States January 17, 2008* This is a great product for a great price. I have found that the drawers hold more along the lines of 150 dvd's or cd's, any more than 50 per section (3 sections per drawer) make it very difficult to take them in and out and to see the tabs.The drawers are solid, and are very easy to open and close - not sure how one person that wrote a review claimed otherwise, had to be a defective unit or defective consumer (probably the latter).The only drawback is that you DO have to purchase your own folders, as this product only comes with 6 sample folders.
