He moved to the USA for graduate studies and currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin with his family. His first collection of short fiction, Bombay Bhel, was published in 2013 and was followed by Gateway of India in 2015.     A very entertaining, and informative read.  Not great literature...but, I really enjoyed it.  The characters were drawn very vividly, and I learned a lot about the variety of co-existing ways of lives, religions, etc. in Bombay and in India.

    A fantastic collection of short stories. Beautifully written. I got a real sense of humanity here. These people have so little and are treated appallingly, but their own generosity and kindness keep coming through.
