Dog was suffering after an ear infection and continued trying to scratch but the plastic cone was causing the dog to hit his trachea on walls and furniture, causing muscle injury to the neck. The dog would also bang things with the plastic cone and not only was this noisy, it would also hurt the legs if he caught you.I wanted a soft cone to aid his sleep and comfort. This product is great for comfort and it can be tightened and loosened for the best fit. The only issue is the length of the cone because it sticks out quite far. The dog also found it hard to drink with, so I turned the cone back (bent it back as the soft material aids this) and he was fine.
