So what I do is put the monkey in this bag of household items (measuring cups and so forth) that I bring out for him to play with when he's here. What happens is I treat the monkey like a puppet and have it "talk" to him. He'll grab it for a bit, then hand it to me to make it talk to him some more, so that works! But I always thought you should just sponge off a stuffed animal and then fluff it dry in a warm (not hot) dryer.
