I love the small pocket for my IPOD or my smart phone. It is a great way to keep from having to attach it to your person. The pack is just the right size to carry the essentials for a bike ride (i.e. wallet, cash, pocket knife, bike tools, personal protection, etc.). The vertical padding on the pack that rides against your back is comfortable. The pack overall is great and comfortable to wear. The hydration portion of the pack is easy to remove and fill. I am able to leave it in the fridge/cooler prior to taking off on a ride and it attaches securely with a clip inside the pack. If you are looking for a good quality pack with great looks, you will not go wrong with this one. There is plenty of pockets for storage and it is also very water proof. The only change I made was that I use a camel bak bladder becasue it is larger and from my past experience every bladder leaks beside camelbak ones. Plenty of room for storage of bike tools, spare tubes and granola bars for the long trail rides. The only problem I had was with the bite valve, it tore after about 6 rides. It turned out to be a easy replacement.
