I own a $150 Dvorak keyboard that has mechanical keys and is switchable between Dvorak and Qwerty. This keyboard is, by far, a much better value. While I like the mechanical keyboard, I was not prepared to spend another $150 for a replacement. The vast majority of the time I don't need a switchable keyboard. I simply need a regular keyboard in Dvorak so I can actually touch type. While the mechanical keys do feel nice, they don't feel $150 worth of nice. The keys on this keyboard feel excellent. The pressure to actuate is good - not hard, not soft. The keys "break" cleanly so that you know the key has made contact. While the Enter key is a bit different, it is easy to get used to. The quality of this keyboard is on par with any keyboard the company I work for would purchase. It is a good, everyday commodity keyboard that will do the job without breaking your wallet - and it's Dvorak. It is an excellent value. Review: Works great with Android, No keyboard input change! - Finally found a solution for my Android Phone. Ever since I upgraded to the Fold 4, I no longer had an option to select Dvorak for the keyboard input. I don't understand why they would remove this option. I want the option to use Dex with a monitor but could not get Dvorak input. This keyboard is already wired for Dvorak and no software change is necessary. Gregory, Thank you for the question. There are no plans to create Apple versions in the future. Though there are a number of customers who have used the keyboard with Apple products and they reported that it works for them. This is what they've found: 1. the number keypad on the right always function as numbers, as if the numlock key is always on. Pressing the numlock key has no effect, 2. The Windows key functions as the command key, 3. The Alt key functions as the Option key. 4. Scroll lock decreases the screen brightness and Pause/Break increases the screen brightness. The Everything else works as labeled. David **Q: Top row #'s are in ask format (american simplified kybd) - 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0; true dsk (dvorak simplified kybd): 7-5-3-1-9-0-2-4-6-8 can u remap?** A: You can remap the numbers by creating a custom keyboard layout. Of course, the numbers won't match what's on the keyboard unfortunately. And the keymapping won't take affect until you switch the mapping (after logging in). So yea, you can do the remapping, but it won't be pretty. **Q: How is the typing on this keyboard?** A: If you're used to the Dvorak layout, it's great. My only gripe is the arrangement of the "enter" and "/" keys. If you aren't used to Dvorak, it will seem counterintuitive at first. This DigiPlanet model is smooth and quiet. It has good tactile feedback with smooth increase in key pressure until release and completed keystroke! It is also very quiet compared to other keyboards my family uses. I am most comfortable with Dvorak so it is ergonomic for my typing text but for gaming the position of the W,A,S,D, keys becomes problematic if you are not comfortable reassigning keys. This DigiPlanet Dvorak keyboard is USB, of course, allowing me to take it to another computer with an existing Qwerty keyboard and plug into a USB port while the PC is running (verified on our Windows 8, 10 , Linux Mint 19 PCs) giving me ability to type Dvorak right away and then unplug it when done.
