The flowers are quite large and although the stem bends, the stems that hold the flowers do not bend they are just plastic. So it's kind of hard to manipulate the flowers into a realistic-looking shape. I think the pictures make it look like at the flowers are much smaller than they are. If you want something big and dramatic this is it. They didn't look very real to me, kind of a flat purple color. Not suitable for my small room. I returned them. **Q: Is the purple really pink? I don't see how anyone can say these orchids look realistic. They came with an orange plastic piece in the center of each flower. There is no white orchid that has a gaudy orange center. And as I was trying to smooth out the flower portion the flowers kept popping off of the "stem". EDIT: After having these a while I have re-considered my first rating and now give a 4. I removed the orange plastic piece from the center of each orchid and that helped the basic overall look tremendously. The flowers have not fallen off the stems. I then worked with an heated up, etc. each bloom and they look decent now. Just don't expect to take them out of the packaging and think they are ready.
