The coverage on the top and bottom was very good to the point I felt comfortable allowing her to not wear shorts over top if she chose to which I have not done with any other leotard. We have washed this leotard 5 times now with no peeling of the fabric. I tried cheaper generic ones too but this was by far the best materials and quality. The front is lined which is necessary for a light pink leotard. My 9 year old is 4'7" 85#, wears size 12/L in street clothes. This is our first time taking dance classes and it took several tries to find something that fit. None of the children's size leotards fit, not even size 12-14. Even women's XS was too snug with no room for growth. After many tries, women's Small fit her best.
