I used this for approximately 3 years and never had any problems -- eventually applying 2-3 times a week; then removing with a gentle nail polish remover once a week, and starting afresh. 6 months ago I tried the Formula 2+ and it seemed to FIX two nails that had problems in the cuticle area -- those problems/damages have completely cleared up. Now I alternate between the 2+ and the 3. But I am careful, when applying, to NOT get any on my skin or cuticles around my nails -- and wipe any excess off these areas immediately.
