I gave four stars because one of the bands had a slice in it. It came broken- I’m not sure if it was a return from someone who was too rough putting in the device or if it’s just a product defect. Either way- have the adult put the device in and out. The square feels more flimsy at the opening than the rest of the band and I know my girls may try to force it (there is a right and wrong direction for it)! He is 8 but small for his age and a size small band looked about the same size when held up to the Garmin band it was replacing. It fits him just as good, it has a good amount of stretch to it to fit over his hand and does not look like it will fall off so I’m pleased. The tracker fits in it nice and snug. The material is a very soft rubber.
