As If! The Who here do what they do best, give a blistering performance of TOMMY and a few other hits from the sixties.Unlike CDs of other American (allegedly) radio transmissions, the sound quality here is excellentIn the book ANYWAY ANYHOW ANYWHERE: THE COMPLETE CHRONICLE OF THE WHO 1958 - 1978, it is said that this concert was videotaped; how long must we wait for that? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ FANTASTIC BROADCAST FROM JULY 1970 *by E***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 June 2019* i have a number of bootlegs of this show from over all my years collecting who, i also have this on vhs tape from way back & a couple of dvd versions as well, as for the the sound i give it 5 stars here but sadly this is not the whole show, they cut a few songs for this edition i guess to make it a one disc set as it would have to be a two cd set for the whole show,all my other cd versions of this are two cd sets, the show is about 2 hours long. one thing the who did at this show was a monster fantastic live version of water that was supposed to be on lifehouse the following year( it lasts a good 7/8 minutes or so) but as we all know that ended up becoming whos next, this is a historic fantastic live who document but why not the whole show???? the who did a killer set this night, as i said i have dvds of this & it is pro shot but if it will ever get an official release???? that remains to be seen..when it comes to films i find that in many cases the stations that filmed shows like this about 50 years ago destroyed the original tapes sometime along the way OR it is just way to expensive for the band or record company to get the licencing like they did back in 1996 for the isle if wight show for example. get a boot dvd of this near two hour show, its pro shot & you will love it...... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wizard's of their art. *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 June 2019* A good radio broadcast of The Who performing Tommy plus a few extra tracks. At first I doubted it was a live recording due to sound quality being so good and so little audience noise but as we had spoken introductions to some of the songs it is definitely a live recording. This has the group at their best blasting through the album. Good to hear Moon the Loon introducing some songs. I would have preferred a little more audience to add ambience but I would highly recommend this to fans of the group and anyone who likes Tommy.
