BLITZART Tornado 38" Dual Electric Skateboard Longboard 3.5" PU Wheels

The Blitzart Tornado dual-motor skateboard is a fantastic mid-tier electric skateboard. The Tornado performs like an expensive, >$1000 board, but sells at a much better price. The motors are extremely quiet compared to other electric skateboards, and the acceleration and braking are intense and smooth. The throttle control remote is a bit trigger-happy, but after a few days of riding it becomes second nature and is easy to control. This board utilizes DC injection braking, but is not regenerative. Average range per charge is about 8-10 miles, which is a bit less than the advertised 12 miles but is not bad at all. The wheels are very well-cushioned and the board handles rocks/cracks with ease. The turning radius does leave some to be desired, even after loosening the trucks, but for a longboard it's not really necessary for the radius to be super tight.

I bought this as a Father's Day gift for my husband and within a week the wheel cap on one of the motorized wheels cracked. Blitzart customer service was great about responding but sending out a replacement part took them a few weeks because the part was on back-order. The screws stripped when replacing the wheel and on the first ride after fixing the board, the rubber exterior started sliding off the other motorized wheel. The screws on that wheel stripped upon attempted repair. Blitzart customer service once again responded quickly and was willing to send out another part, but we decided to return it. The rubber wheels are too susceptible to slipping off due to hot asphalt in the summer and a hot motor on the inside. Unless you live somewhere where this won't be a problem, I'd wait for the next redesign.

I bought this for my 15 year old who is 6 ft, 180 lbs. Ive street skated for years and still currently ride regular boards (I'm 6-5, 230).. this is the first time ive ridden a longboard(just to test it) and I will say that this thing rocks! I ride this as much as my son(if not more) that I may get a second one so we can thrash together at the beach! Super smooth ride. Takes a while to charge but no big deal. Once you get used to acceleration ands braking it's incredibly fun. Carving is great! I'll update if anything changes this review. Had this board for two- three weeks or so and have ridden it about 7 total days. So far have only traveled about 3 miles on it.

Christmas present for my 20yo son, who loves it and zipping around college campus. Double battery/motor upgrade set up is very heavy, but Very powerful and fast, climbs long hills (he’s around 150 lbs), impresses his friends at his engineering school, so he’s happy with it...3 months of use with no issues or complaints so far.

Xmas morning, charged it up, took out to the driveway, and one do the two motors doesn’t work. Extremely disappointed.

I ride it everywhere, to meetings, to starbucks, on vacation to check out a new area. in the Top 5 of gifts I have ever received.

Day 1 board is amazing. Will keep you posted! Im 215lb and got a top speed of 20 mph.

I've bought a BLITZART Tornado 38" Dual-Hub about 3 month ago.It's been a really nice skateboard, but it started losing traction on one of the engine wheels and disconnecting from the remote controler. Which made me fall last time I rode on it down a hill.
