My older Craftsman unit had finally given up the ghost and no longer functioned. I have several FLUKE meters in my shop toolbox but needed a good, not so expensive unit for home use. I choose the FLUKE meter. As far as I am concerned, there may be models that are less money, but it is hard to beat the reliability of a FLUKE meter. Took this unit down to the shop and tested against a more expensive professional tool and there were no differences in the test measurements performed.
