Review: !!Quiet!! Works great! Heavy. Wheels!! BYOHose. - Edit on December 17, 2025: I spent many, many hours researching before I chose this as my best money. Sometimes, I even surprise myself with how well that pays off. This may be the best purchase decision I've ever made, and I'm really old, so it's not an easy distinction to get out of me. Every single thing I've used it for has been easy with no lag or recovery time, except for a leaky rotory tool, but that's expected. It had no trouble putting 110 lbs of pressure in big rig tires. Pin nailer pap-pap-pap x 10 = 30 evenly countersunk brads (except if a knot was hiding on the other side of a board, but again, that's to be expected). I have no doubt that it's pumping at least close to the 3.0 cubic feet per minute speed they say, if not more. A roofing gun usually needs 2 to 2.5 cubic feet per minute, continuously delivered, to nail at roofer speed. I can't claim "roofer speed", just like most other not-pro-roofer, as-needed-roofing-dabblers, who don't do it daily, but I'm pretty quick and I had no trouble. There's probably a real roofer on here who could tell us how it does operating at the speed of light. Every time I fire it up, it still surprises me by making my preparatory cringe irrelevant. I can't be the only one who knows about the preparatory compressor cringe. If I'd been able to get this one 40 years ago, I'd never have developed that flinch response, like my old compressors were abusive or something. They kind of were. This one is my friend. Even in the otherwise empty long bed with a shell, no problem, it doesn't amplify. There is no way to get across well enough just how much you gotta buy this and get it home and fire it up for you to understand how this is closer to the sound of nothing running than a compressor running. End of the December 2025 edit. If you saw this early in your search for a new compressor, put this in your cart, because if the tank size and cubic feet per minute of pumped air meet your working requirements, this is, I'm guessing, the one you're going to end up buying. And you'll be as glad as I am that you did, too, especially when it's after 10 p.m. and you could never have run a compressor that late in a quiet neighborhood, but you can run this. If your garage echoes and amplifies, and you only need to spray paint or air up a tire, just put the compressor in the house, maybe in a closet. It won't wake your family. Nailing at 2 a.m. is rude in any medium/high density residential area, even without it being pneumatic. I'm out in the sticks, so I'm just keeping the bears and mountain lions away, you know? I love this compressor enough to come back after all this time and tell everybody I can tell about it. It makes my life easier. Better. No kidding. Did I find the right words? I guess it doesn't matter since you can't understand until you experience the "unnecessary preparatory compressor flinch" by flipping the switch and hearing a sound closer to that of a marital aid, a mixer on the lowest setting, or a box fan on low, an aquarium, a... I might have to add my first video for this, eventually. Until then... Get it, and you'll get it. _End of Edit_____________ It's soooo much quieter than my old hot dog. Works great. I did the "break in" run per instructions. All is well. I wasn't prepared for the weight and non-ergonomically-designed handle. Another review said that it was too low for a tall man, but the center of gravity is pretty far forward for a short woman to lean it back and roll it, so I might create a taller handle for leverage, plus hose and tool storage that could act as counterweight, but come off (like a vice grip type connection maybe?) when I actually have to lift it. With the (Not Included) 50 ft hose and 100 ft of extension cords, that won't be often, and I may not end up changing anything. I suggest getting 2 good, rubbery 25' air hoses instead of one 50' with a swivel or quick-connect between them. My 50' hose is awesome, but it's a lot of hose in one run. The coiled plastic included with the Craftsman hot dog lasted years, but I always wondered if this would be the last use. I avoided that this time, but, yeah, a 50' fatty bologna hose isn't so "portable" for me as 2- 25s, so I'll cut fatty in half, eventually. Back to the topic... I read other reviews that said the regulators sometimes leak, so I planned to change it out. It is very slowly losing pressure, but I haven't tracked it down. Could just as easily be the tire pump attachment, but regardless, it's too slow a loss to bother with now. [Edit on December 17, 2025: It resolved itself to unnoticeability. I don't leave it very long under pressure, and we're not supposed to do that with compressors, anyway. If I needed pressurized air handy, everywhere, all the time, I'd fill external tanks and haul those little feathers around, instead. End of edit.] Overall, I would buy it again if it somehow fell out of the back of my truck and went off a cliff or something. I looked everywhere online for weeks before deciding on this as the best deal on the most powerful truly portable (wheels) compressor at the best price, and so far it looks like my research paid off. And, did I mention that the "Stealth" name on this thing isn't bull****? It is soooooooo quiet. If it meets your needs, this one is a good, solid purchase, and one I would make again without any hesitation.
Review: Rock solid at this price point - I've done a lot, and I mean A LOT, of research watching tons of videos posted by kind and helpful YouTubers hoping to find the perfect compressor for my basic needs. I got lucky and found a great price through desertcart Warehouse because the mount was damaged which I easily repaired. The weld connecting the engine to the mount failed for the previous buyer (maybe they were rough with it, that's why I got mine half priced) and I can see this being an issue for low reviewers and rightly so. However once repaired this compressor is absolutely perfect for the weekend diy'er. Plenty of compressor power even at this small size. It is very heavy but the wheels and telescoping handle makes portability extremely easy. Most important--it is absolutely dead quiet! You don't want to have an obnoxious loud unit bothering the neighbors (and your own hearing), you can easily maintain a conversation while this thing is on. Whether you get lucky with a deal or not this is one impressive unit when compared to other compressors in this price range. Those on a limited budget looking for bang-for-the-buck will find this to be a perfect buy.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: will this work with a grex tg7 that needs 40 psi ? I got this off their website: Oper. Pressure: 5 ~ 80psi (0.34 ~ 5.52bar)**
A: I'm not sure what a grex tg7 is, but I do know that I just bought a dewalt air wrench that operates at max 90psi, and it didn't have enough juice to get my mower blades off. I think I need a bigger tank to be able to use tools like that. it's been great for inflating though. Super quiet.

**Q: Does it run on 110 or 220**
A: 110

**Q: Can be used with automotive paint gun?**
A: yes, it can. it also can work on inflation, roofing, hobby painting, finishing, brad nail guns and more as well.

**Q: can this unit be used for a framing nailer?**
A: yees this unit should for that job. its a 150 PSI mx and is more than 2cfm

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quiet, efficient, reliable
*by S***A on January 20, 2020*

I have only had this a few months now but the times in which I have used it have been wonderful. It is SUPER quiet, produces plenty of air and is easy to roll around if necessary with the large wheels. The on-off switch is easy, it accepts accessory devices like tire inflation, air blow gun and can also produce enough pressure consistently for my plasma cutter. I do recommend this purchase to anyone with a small space and not looking to throw out their back for everyday use. It would NOT be suitable for heavy garage use like an impact wrench.
