Shipped within 2 days of ordering, and the packaging was hard cardboard, so it was not damaged whatsoever in transit. Just a small tip for anyone planning to make their own corkboard travel map with this map - I went by a blogger's suggestion to mod podge this map to a corkboard to create a framed travel tack board, but this map freaked out when I used the mod podge to secure it to the corkboard. It bubbled, wrinkled and did not turn out AT ALL. I should have used spray adhesive instead, and will do that with the replacement I'm ordering today because this makes a great decorator statement piece!
