You know I read this this book on 2 different kindles NO don't laugh I did I had to because, I had to make sure I was reading it right. I couldn't believe what I was reading. It was that good . Yes it was ! First off, I read it and was like no way. That did not just happen Selena powers grew that much wow . Then through the whole book with all the twist and turns wow. I was amazed by the way all the characters whether crazed mind's or not they actually all came together and they seem to be able to work as a team. what I love the most is the fact this book has a great story line . Lots of twist and turns action and what are we gonna do now parts lol . I do recommend that you read them in order so you know who every one is and who you need to throat punch yeah throat punch is a thing right ? hahaha ....Here's the thing about secrets: the only way to keep them between two people is if one of them is dead. If you're not willing to pull the trigger yourself, you best be prepared to have it pulled on you. I learned that lesson the hard way.My ignorance got her killed. This book is full of action, suspense, unexpected and wonderful twists and turns. The underlying implications as more information is discovered throughout this book both tantalize the reader and build the suspense higher in getting ready for the next book in the series is incredible!!From the beginning of this series on through to this current book Kel Carpenter keeps the reader both salivating for more while also keeping the reader rooted in the moment! As connections are made and the characters unfold the truth piece by piece, the world around the characters gains depth and as such jumps to life with the characters becoming more real with every page read.I love Kel Carpenter as her books always have a fresh way of seeing the supernatural. She doesn’t just regurgitate the same old themes that have been written about ad nauseum. She seems to create a world with entirely different rules and norms that help bring the book to life more than usual for me!! I love getting carried away reading her books and discovering the new worlds and characters she brings to life!! 👍👍😁😁

Book three picks up without missing a beat, and it's non-stop action from beginning to the end. Selena has done a lot of growing up, but she still has a ways to go (in my opinion), but she is trying to do better. Just when she thinks she has things figured out, she meets someone who turns everything upside down and shatters everything. The story is getting really interesting and intense and I am excited to see what happens next.

What an awesome third installment! The twists and turns in this book were amazing. Poor Selena had to break apart mentally and physically just to heal! Her growth in this book was amazing to see and finally her and Aaron are settled. But what does that mean for Lucas? I can’t wait to find out! We finally got to hear how all this started. The reason Selena and her sisters were born. Why Selena has the powers she does and the meaning of the voices inside her head. The ending to this tale is gonna be interesting. Will it happen exactly as foretold or will Selena pull of a miracle. As she says a matter manipulator can make the impossible possible. I hope in this case she can!!!

I waited for this book for so long, the way the last book ended had me pumped I imagined a lot of ways the story could go but I was so off the mark it's not even funny. Let me say I was pleasantly surprised by the character development and plot twist, it had been too long since a book was this good and also had so many twists even the end which was so masterfully delivered it left me with me mouth open.Now I'm not saying the book is perfect there were a couple glitches mainly with Aaron's shift in personalities and the way that the last battle went (what happened to Aaron wasn't explained very well), however that doesn't take anything from the book and I'll be waiting impatiently for the next one to come out and I really hope it doesn't take as long to write as this one.

I couldn’t even finish the book. The MC is driving me crazy. I hate when MC can’t see past reason. This MC has 0% intelligence and instead holds on the grudges like they are the air she breathes, including against her own family. To me she is the villain of this story and the angst and anger is so over powered that any story is wash away, and that I’m done.I’ll give it three stars because it’s actually a good story if we could just take away all the anger and angst of a 16 year old little girl with too much power who when she loses it reminds me of a severely depressed person who pushes everyone away.

The story moves on…… oh my poor soul! Total emotions, all over the place. I’m so damn invested in this story right now - I’m LIVING it as I read!!!!!Late (very very late) last night/early morning, I finished book 2 and I decided in my little, dusty, bibliophile heart to read just one chapter of book 3……. Y’all know what happened next don’t you……. Dawn, daylight, birds waking…….I’m on chapter 30 something and I looked like that old cartoon of Donald Duck unable to sleep, red eyes and matchsticks holding them open. Today was not a great day for me 😂But oh I love everything I’m reading….story, characters, style. I just make a recommendation…..READ THIS BOOK!Oh, just realised I’ve got another book yet!!!!! Laters x

The italic dreams Selena was having in the early part of the book didn’t make sense and I either speed read or skipped the passages. I think the relevance should have clearer so as it didn’t get confused with Selena’s earlier dreams. While things were happening and the book was another one that was hard to put down (hence the 5 stars), I thought the book could have shortened without affecting the story... it sometimes took a while to go forwards. Also Selena’s matter manipulation skill could be used infinitely, like letting her down slowly, turning knives into marshmallows, etc. but there is no reason for the limitations that just don’t occur.

So much happened!!I still hate Lucas and it seriously annoyes that Tori is trying to defend him. I get its her brother but he nasty and so self centred! To think Selena would accept him even if ash was killed!? Crazy!!Also trying to blame Lily's death on Selena! She should never have been there in the first place he took her there and left her!!On to book 4!

Once again I have loved every moment of this book. Slowly the story unravels leaving my head buzzing with questions. We get to find out the consequences from the last book and how our wee group will band together. I really liked seeing Selena's character and relationships evolve in this book. I particularly enjoyed and cheered her on when she dealt with a particular shifter called Jessa. I cannot wait to dive into the next book. If you enjoyed the series so far you will not be disappointed and if you're looking for a series to start, definitely dive into this one. Once again the voice acting could not have been better and it was a pleasure to listen through this audiobook.

I have loved this series and author since the first moment I opened the books. This was incredible - it dragged me into its thrall with every well placed kiss, wound and word. Kel Carpenter has created a world and characters that are beyond exciting.
