Took me about one hour to assemble ( not the most mechanically inclined person). The assembly instructions were what took the time, they are somewhat self explanatory but the diagram could be a little clearer and larger. The piano itself seems great so far. The keys are definitely weighted. Maybe just a little more then a acoustic piano. And a few of the keys were barely audible but perked up after I played it for a bit. For the money it is definitely a good deal. I connected this piano with Windows machine and Synthesia. My kids are practicing the piano now more than ever! They actually think it is fun. For the price, you are not going to find a better machine. If you are wondering about the quality -- it is good. Great sound and the keys are weighted fine. Is it going to get you the sound of $2000+ digital piano? Probably not. But it sounds good to me. It hits all the checks that I was looking for at a price that is great.
