It's very unusual these days to find an item that will last a life time, however, this is one of those rare occasions when your money is being well spent. I know it's just a 1/2" ID Hose Barb Y Shaped 3 Way Union Fitting Intersection/Split Brass fitting, however, in my application, it takes 3 men to lift and remove the outdoor fountain top for me to access the pump and plumbing underneath. Therefore, I need to do it right and not often.I've had my outdoor fountains for over 10 years and this particular fountain has been down and non working about 1/2 that time, just because I needed to access the plumbing or pump issues. So, this was the year I said NO MORE buying cheap parts to get my fountain up and running. I was tired of parts breaking, cracking or whatever or just the plain hassle to go out and search for the correct size parts.However, with this Joywayus 1/2" ID Hose Barb Y Shaped 3 Way Union Fitting Intersection/Split Brass fitting, I'm getting a BONUS....this particular outdoor water fountain will finally have BOTH water bubbling features working!!!! Even when the fountain was installed 10 years ago, the installers didn't have this particular and correct part to make my fountain work properly as it was intended. Today, my fountain is such a treasure to watch and listen to both day and night!!!I have a video attached for you to see the actual workings of the underneath side of this fountain and how I finally was able to get the fountain to send water to both outputs. This Joywayus 1/2" ID Hose Barb Y Shaped 3 Way Union Fitting Intersection/Split Brass fitting is SOLID brass and should last the rest of my lifetime and my child's lifetime!!! It is exactly as described here on Amazon and I'm using it with the 1/2" ID vinyl tubing and it all fits together perfectly. The barbs work as they should and there are no rough places to cut you or your tubing by mistake. This is a high quality product and for my application, it is perfect!

The seller worked with me to develop a very nice 90° 5/8" hose Y fitting. The fit-up is great! Takes a lot of effort to remove the hose. Great product! Will be using these often.

I got these tube splitters in just a couple days.I found them to be difficult to use. Had to buy separate clamps to keep the from leaking. And the splitter rust after a couple months.

used to combine the normal and reserve fuel tank ports on my quad (port selector broke). It has worked great for a few months now and i don't see that changing anytime soon.
