My love affair with this series ended here
2.5 stars. This went in a bit of a different direction from what I was expecting after reading books 1 and 2.I still love Bandit, the racoon, though.I don't feel a pressing need to continue this series once the next book is released.

Loved it
This book is my favorite so far out of this series. Ruby went through her full transition in this book with the help of her inner beast. The physical relationship between Ruby and her 4 horsemen ramped up quite a few notches 🔥🔥 A lot of answers were exposed in this book but still more questions popped up by the end. A lot of action in this book especially when Ruby shows how bad*** she is. The dynamic with Sin and Donnach is interesting and I am curious to see how they contribute or hinder Ruby’s journey to Hell to claim the throne. The next book holds a lot of promise for more action, drama, and hopefully plenty of answers.

Wow. Just. Wow.
I came across this book by chance, and I'm not really one to write out long reviews. However, I blew through the first 3 books in two days. This story holds you spellbound with magic, mythology, and romance. I anxiously await the 4th book. From the sarcastic wit to strong female characters and relatable emotions, this series hit all the high notes. Would absolutely recommend.

All Hail Ruby
I can't get enough of this series! I read this book in the matter of hours. In fact I devoured it in one sitting. My favourite character has to be Bandit. I love that sassy little trash-panda (please don't harm, maim or kill the little bugger. You'll leave me emotionally distraught! That's how good the author is, just fyi). There's a few twists (done very well!) that are making me eager for the next book. This one focused on Ruby & The Beast going through the transition of mortal to immortal. So strap in because it isn't an easy ride for them.

Jam Packed Full of Action, Magic and Seduction
What a hot read. Full of action and seduction, Infernal Desires is a fast paced third instalment in the Queen of the Damned series. Carpenter has pulled out all the stops with this one; there is nods left right and centre to lore, both biblical and heathen, about Hell. We have the Seven Sins, Legion, Cain, Hellfire, Hellhounds, and demons galore. I also liked that both Seelie and Unseelie fae get more of a mention in this book.Things certainly heat up in this book; Ruby spends much of it getting to know the guys a lot more intimately. And even though there’s heaps more steam in this one, I actually felt that we got to see less of the guys. But that’s okay as the two favourite besties, Moira and Bandit, get to share a lot more of the limelight. On a less positive note, there were a few editing errors peppered throughout this book which is disappointing as the first two books appeared to be without errors. However, Carpenter still delivers a great work of art; you will not want to put the book down until well after the final page. Also, in regards to the Acknowledgment section: kudos to Carpenter, I loved that acknowledgment.
