Ugly's Electrical References 2014 4th Edition

For those working with electricity, this resource is invaluable. Keep current on the code and have an Ugly's and you should be able to answer most every electrical question. I have known and had this reference for about 35 years now, I am pretty sure. The only thing I can think of that would serve one better, is Ugly's Master Pack! UGLY'S has saved my butt in my Electrical Systems Technology classes countless times already! LOL...And I have since earned 4 "A" letter grades. That alone earns this product a 5-Star rating, IMHO.Additionally, I really like the spiral notebook binding and the extensive formulas and example text format.Evidently, UGLY'S makes various reference books of this degree, so I just may order those as well...as long as they are in line with my course programs and degree.Certainly one of the best purchases I've made.

If you are a electrician, you already know that you need this. All the important info one might need is in here. Some rules, calculations, pipe fill, wire amperage, grounding sizes, tranformer info, proper hand signals, etc.It's great reference book. About the size of a large pocket book. Pretty thin though. I buy one about every other iteration, or when one fails.

The Ugly's is what it is, a pocket size excerpt from the 2014 NEC. It's handy and works if you already know what your doing. It's not a beginners how to, its for pros or former pros like myself... Unfortunately being for professionals it's a bit expensive, but cheaper than a soft back copy of the current NEC. Word of caution, inspectors get a little grumpy when it's your only source of reference on the job site, so you better have the real code book on the job somewhere too.

This little book right here has been a heaven sent for me while i was serving in the ROK. Introduced to me by a friend with the 2008 version, it'd saved me soo much headaches and valuable time while working on the Military's DED and TQG systems there. small and very handy to have in your cargo pockets as a reference to any practical application.

Unifom Guide to Lectric Ynowledge? Why Ugly's? It is very handy and a great thing for expert and novice. Amp up your game. Be re-Volting. Don't let time Impedance you. Great book, have the paper version.Purchased the kindle version as well so I would have it with me all the time.The kindle version is useless to me. Just does not work well at all.Kindle version is a real pain to use at all, far easier to just buy and carry another paper copy in truck.

Lot's of formulas that are hard for the novice to remember. I bought this for the help it offers in understanding and working correctly the bends in electrical conduit. I want to use conduit and shade cloth to make shade for my boat.
