I have a one year old son, so this winter we had one "daycare cold" after another. I was so sick of a raw, red nose and even the softest of tissues didn't help so I decided to go on a search for a soft hanky. I've never owned one, but after the 4th load of laundry covered in shredded kleenex (that I forgot to take out of my pockets before washing), I decided I needed to try something else.Enter: My Hanky. I rarely write product reviews, but I was so impressed with the quality of this product, I couldn't *not* write one. Not only is it as soft as advertised, but it is phenomenal at wicking away moisture. I'm going to be honest: I've never thought about using a hanky because they didn't seem very hygienic to me - wiping my nose with something I didn't throw away seemed kind of gross. The crazy thing about these is that they seem to (amazingly) absorb to what's been put in them, but they don't ever feel wet to the touch after using them.I feel like with any tissue brand, they would "catch" what I put in them but not really absorb if that makes sense. So I was going through tissue after tissue hoping it would make my nose feel more "dry", but it wasn't really working - it was more just wiping stuff around and not absorbing it. My Hanky is honestly amazing and I feel like a crazy hanky lady because its all I've been talking about for the last few days, basically strong-arming people into buying them.Like most normal children, wiping my kid's nose causes chaos. Its like trying to put an octopus in a mesh bag. Yes, I washed them, over and over, trying to soften them up, but that didn't work very well. Well, I am happy to tell you my search has ended, thanks to My Hanky! They are cloud soft, and oh-so-comforting and absorbent. What a relief! In addition, Mr. Marino (the inventor) enclosed a personalized note and a brochure detailing the amazing story of how he came to develop these handkerchiefs. I've determined that part of the problem is the tissues I have been using. I have purchased other hankies looking for something softer but they were all so harsh! My nose would be red and cracked and peeling. I have to coat my nose in Vaseline every night before I go to bed and repeatedly thought the day. Not cute. These hankies though. They are so soft.
