When it started to have crystallized white show up on the figs, can I still eat it?** A: I ordered a dozen of these. They started crystalizing on me after about 6 months, before I finished the box. At first I thought it was mold, but then decided it must by a form of sugar. So far I have eaten 3 such packages, and didn't get sick. :) But they don't taste as good as they used to, and they're harder. Some of the figs turned black; I decided not to eat those. **Q: A number of the reviews mentioned available at stores. Where?** A: In New York you can find them in many stores **Q: Are they certified gluten free? What other products are processed in the same facility?** A: I'm unaware of a gluten free certification for this product tho figs are generally free of gluten unless some has been added in the production process. That is highly unlikely for naturally dried figs.
