But be aware a little bit goes a long way. You'll have to work it into the leather. If you're worried about it take bag to a cobbler. Sorry. **Q: How to use this in which order? clean up dirt, saddle soap, then this condition oil followed by shoe polish?** A: I always clean the shoes up either with a wet rag or saddle soap depending on how bad they are. Then hit them with the conditioning oil and put it on thick so I’d the shoes are dry they can really soak it up. Put them aside for a day and when you come back see if there are any spots that soaked it all up and hit them again. When you’re sue they’ve soaked up all they can, wipe the excess conditioner off or if you still have dry areas rub it into them. That’s all i do since they are basketball shoes i use it on. I can’t really see putting shoes polish on them before it after the conditioner. Id think The oil wouldn’t let the Polish take very easily.
