Now after playing a real piano, it just does not do it as far as a permanent full time instrument. It just does not sound the same, feel the same, or has the personality of a real piano. But for the price you just can not beat it. It will do a very good job of keeping me in practice when traveling. Be aware that it does not come with a power supply. You must get that separately. The keys are NOT standard piano size! I can easily reach beyond one octave on this keyboard..,.wo full steps if I really stretch, whereas on traditional piano or other digital keyboards, I JUST reach one octave. It's a nice, good-sounding, lightweight digital piano, but switching back and forth to TRUE key size is maddening. **Q: Are the keys weighted?** A: This model does not have weighted keys. They call it semi-weighted but it is not the same as piano-weighted keys. **Q: Can I use headphone with this model?** A: Yes. It has a 1/4-inch (0.25 inch) output. If your headphones are 1/8-inch, you'll need a stereo adapter. **Q: There is no power cord included? I wanted a keyboard for the purpose of playing the piano, and nothing else. I'm a professional musician (violin), but wanted to brush up on my piano chops. I wanted a small, inexpensive digital piano that was decently-made, had at least 61 keys, adequate sound, and an uncomplicated interface to use. This fit the bill perfectly. I was hoping to avoid cheap-sounding excess instrument sounds, recording, microphones, looping, etc. Just a basic piano with a decent-enough actual grand piano sound. I was surprised to learn that this has adjustable intonation (you can change the concert pitch from the standard 440 to something lower or higher if you like, which is nice if you're used to tuning to something like A=441). The big selling point to me with this was that it looks a bit classier than most other inexpensive keyboards, but really that it has at least sort-of touch sensitive keys. These are not at all weighted--just to get that out of the way--but are 'touch-sensitive,' which means that they do actually respond to varying amounts of pressure to produce different dynamics. For those who will be pursuing piano as a serious endeavor, I think weighted keys are a must, but for the more casual player who also can't afford a real weighted keyboard (usually $400+), this is a nice bonus. Finally, it's worth pointing out that the speakers built in are perfectly fine, but have very little bass response. This is fine as long as you're not trying to perform on stage with the thing (I don't think anybody ever intended a model like this for that usage, and its price reflects that intention).
