Pull the dash trim, 2 screws, squeeze a few plastic tabs, unplug the back, and reverse the order. My old one had burned-out bulbs and this brought all of my lighting back. Also, I swapped out the rear defrost button to the blank one that is provided since my 2002 single cab Chevy does not have that feature. I was most worried about this step, but the button swap-out was easy also.
